About

I’m Christopher West, a Senior UX Designer specializing in AI/ML products and enterprise developer tools. I spend my time translating highly technical systems into clear, customer-centered experiences at scale.

For the past six years at Amazon AWS I've defined and driven UX vision for generative AI, computer vision, and edge computing services — currently shaping the next-generation design direction for Amazon Bedrock. I have a track record of delivering measurable outcomes in ambiguous, engineering-driven environments, and of aligning product, engineering, and executive stakeholders around a unified experience strategy.

Before AWS I led experience design at WonderWorkshop, creating award-winning educational robots and apps that teach children to code, and grew from designer to design lead over six years at Disney Interactive on large-scale cross-platform games.

Tools & methods

Figma expert — served as sole AWS Figma admin for 13 months, managing org-level configuration, plugins, and audit scripting across 15k+ users. I work from whiteboard through agentic AI tools to rapidly prototype interactive concepts for stakeholder alignment and author detailed UX vision documents.
